Elanceで仕事を頼む：実務編

モチベーション編と業務依頼編の続き．

Elizabethに仕事を依頼するときに気になったのが，プロポーザルのDeliveryがwithin 1 dayになっていたこと．1日で仕事をやり遂げるつもりなのだろうか．

そこで，やってほしい業務内容を説明するメッセージを送り，また作業期間を依頼日を含めて6日間に設定した．
送ったメッセージは下記．英語がへたくそなのはご寛容を．

Dear Elizabeth,
Thank you for your applying my survey job.
Please see an image file attached to this message. It describes what kind of underwater vehicles I would like you to survey.
I also attach an example of related papers as a PDF file, which might be a good candidate of the starting point.
Give me a list of publications related to the subject. In addition, collect papers as much as possible, and give them to me.
The purpose of this survey is to understand the background of our research project and to write the 'state of the art' section of a technical journal paper related to this subject.
I extend the deadline of this survey to July 28th because I guess it might take a few days. So please survey extensively.
I hope you will do a good job.

同時に自分の論文と，説明の絵を描いて送った．
2時間もしないうちに返事が来て，Elanceではじめての委託業務がはじまった．7月23日のこと．

次の日（24日）の午後には，Elizabethから9つの論文がPDFで送られてきた．作業の経過報告なのだろう．
これを送ってもらったことはとても良かった．論文の内容が，こちらが調べてほしいものと必ずしも合っていないと感じたので，メッセージを送ることができたから．Elizabethが期限ぎりぎりまで作業してから結果を送ってきたのだったら，軌道修正が遅れていたことだろう．
送ったメッセージは下記．

Dear Elizabeth,
Thank you for your extensive survey.
I would like to ask you a fever. Would you give me a reasoning comment for each article why you consider the article is related to this survey mission?
I am not sure whether some of these papers you sent me are related to the survey. For example, in the article "Development of a Visually-Guided Autonomous Underwater Vehicle" (water_vehicles2.pdf), I cannot identify whether this vehicle makes use of the pitching motion to diving so far.
(I am not offending you, of course. I just hope to share your knowledge.)

こちらも英語がへたくそだがご寛容を．
Elizabethからは気持ちのよい快諾のメッセージが届いて，軌道修正してくれた．

結局，ぜんぶで26個の論文とコメントが送られてきた．後半に送られてきたものは，一部こちらの意図とは違うものが混じっていたものの，おおむね適切な論文だった．なので，依頼前にこちらが期待していたよりもよい仕事ぶりだと言ってよいだろう．

仕事には満足したので終了にしてよいか? とのメッセージをElizabethに送り，合意を得て終了し，当初に約束したとおりの金額を支払った．支払いはPayPal経由にした．

はじめてのElance経験は成功裏に終わったと思っている．反省点はあるが，これは稿を改めて．
